KOREA

October 2022

Throughout the world, disused factories are finding new life as museums, performance halls and other cultural spaces. Korea is no exception.

In this issue of KOREA, we’ll explore several examples of adaptive reuse of industrial spaces, including Busan’s F1963 and Seoul’s LCDC SEOUL. We’ll introduce some of Seoul’s suddenly hip industrial zones, too.

We’ll also talk with one of Korea’s most innovative performers of traditional Korean music, enjoy a bowl of bibimbap and much more.
